GAC TV is proud to announce the story of the month for October 2009: Parkour Society, by Aaron Albani. This story featured some good camerawork, including a variety of interesting shots to keep the viewer interested. Congrats, Aaron, and keep up the great work!
We’ve had 6 great episodes so far this year, and we have 3 more to go before Christmas break. Stay tuned!
Good news! We have GAC TV set up on the podcast server. If you want to be able to subscribe to our episodes, you can do so from with this messy URL: feed://podcast.gac.edu:8171/podcastproducer/atom_feeds/373CC9CF-E91F-4D7B-841C-F5B4EE2E1F5D.
Of course, we’ll still post a link to each episode up here.
We’re still working on switching over to our new website. We don’t have our Podcast working yet. However, all of our old episodes can be found by clicking “previous episodes” in the links at the top of this page. We will get them moved over as soon as we are able. Of course, all new episodes will be posted here, so be on the lookout!
This past Sunday, GAC TV held its annual “Screen Tests” for anchor and reporters. After 9 outstanding interviewees and much discussion, we are proud to announce that our new Co-Anchor for the 2009-2010 school year will be Sam Hemmerich. Sam is a Sophomore Biology Major/ Art Minor and is involved with Forensics, Ambassadors, GusLink and the Crossroads Program.
Also, our first GAC TV Meeting of the year will be this upcoming Thursday, September 24 at 7:00 pm in the Board Room.
As GAC TV continues to grow and change to make the best use of the resources available to us, we’ve decided to take advantage of the Gustavus Podcast server instead of using our home-grown website scripts. This helps ensure that our website will be maintainable in the future.
Episodes will be posted on the Podcast server, which you may subscribe to, and posted on this blog as well. We will feature other stories of the month and news articles here as well.
