We’re still working on switching over to our new website. We don’t have our Podcast working yet. However, all of our old episodes can be found by clicking “previous episodes” in the links at the top of this page. We will get them moved over as soon as we are able. Of course, all new episodes will be posted here, so be on the lookout!
This past Sunday, GAC TV held its annual “Screen Tests” for anchor and reporters. After 9 outstanding interviewees and much discussion, we are proud to announce that our new Co-Anchor for the 2009-2010 school year will be Sam Hemmerich. Sam is a Sophomore Biology Major/ Art Minor and is involved with Forensics, Ambassadors, GusLink and the Crossroads Program.
Also, our first GAC TV Meeting of the year will be this upcoming Thursday, September 24 at 7:00 pm in the Board Room.
As GAC TV continues to grow and change to make the best use of the resources available to us, we’ve decided to take advantage of the Gustavus Podcast server instead of using our home-grown website scripts. This helps ensure that our website will be maintainable in the future.
Episodes will be posted on the Podcast server, which you may subscribe to, and posted on this blog as well. We will feature other stories of the month and news articles here as well.
The story of the month for April 2009 is Mary Cooley’s story on the concert controversy. She took the initiative to film the story on the day of the event, having been present at the concert, and did a great job at doing so. Congratulations.
We would also like to say farewell to the seniors leaving GAC TV. There is no doubt that their hard work has made a lasting impression and has helped ensure GAC TV’s success into the future. Katie Mason, Luke Garrison, Alex Wauck, Dan Bauer, Allison Marten, and Tasha Carlson…. thank you for all of your hard work and dedication.
Best of luck to Luke Garrison as he goes on to greater things, namely, his new position as producer at KSTP here in Minnesota.
