Our Sorority

Sigma Sigma Sigma's greatest strength is our members... unique as individuals, yet bound together by the common bond of friendship. Since 1898, over 100,000 women have found fun and friendship in the sisterhood of Tri Sigma. Our members have a place to call home, a place to find a friend, and most importantly a place to be themselves.

In Tri Sigma, we pride ourselves on sisterhood. Through our diversity of personalities and interests, we are able to strengthen our bonds of friendship while remaining true to our own identities. Sigma Sigma Sigma encourages each member to recognize what is unique in each of us, to develop our individual talents and to be proud of our differences.

National Hazing Policy

Our chapter takes pride in our new member pledging program, and does not tolerate hazing in any form. Here is our national policy on hazing.

"Any form of hazing is strictly prohibited, and any chapter or chapter member participating in hazing practices is subject to disciplinary action.

Hazing is defined as any action which produces mental or physical discomfort, embarrassment, harassment or ridicule. Any situation or act in which new members are treated differently than initiated members is likely to be considered hazing."
