• We are tabling Mar 18th- 22nd for Water and Divestment
*Divestment*: Jessica, Lizzy, and myself went to a meeting today at Macalester that was held for students in MN and WI who are working on divestment. Bill McKibben gave us lots of good advice and encouragement. We are also planning to meet in person with Kevin Kling (Gustie Alum) since he has expressed he would like to support our divestment and sustainability efforts. Julia from MN350 will also be present, and she told us that so far Gustavus is leading MN divestment progress. Our next steps with divestment is finalizing our literature that we will be using when we start campaigning in earnest in March. This includes fact sheets, how to sheets, pamphlets/leaflets, template letters, and letters to send to alum asking for support. Please join the Divest Gustavus facebook group, or tell Rebecca that you would like to be added to the Divest Gustavus email alias if you would like to be more involved with divesting! Or of course email any of us!
