Commonality of Weapons:
By far, the most common weapon in the native bronze age culture is the axe. The populace considers it a multi-purpose tool -- you can both slaughter your neighbor and cut down trees! Wow. Tales of great warriors speak most commonly of the Great Axe, and the terrible damage it inflicts. This is the most common weapon of elite mercs.

Conscripted armies typically are equiped with spears, as they are cheaper and easier to make. Professional soldiers look down upon spears, most favoring the axe. People don't yet realize the benefits of swords, being enamored, as a culture, with the axe.

For hunting, the Regular Bow is favored by most. Some wilderness men like the sling as well, and many are skilled with slings, having used them as children. The bow isn't seen so much as a weapon of war, it being considered more honorable to hack your opponent to bits than to shoot him from a distance.
