Hey there! My name is Erik Bryz-Gornia but most people call me Bryz, BG or Bryzzly Bear. I am a Junior Chemistry and Political Science double major (yes it’s an odd combination, get over it) who is involved in Track, Student Senate, Proclaim and Africa Partners Medical. I hail from the wonderful world of suburbia in Blaine, Minnesota and since the age of 12, I’ve been rockin’ the suburbs.
Back then I started off with percussion and tenor saxophone however as the years passed I focused on drums. I have played in jazz bands, gospel bands, marching bands, orchestral ensembles, the always nitty gritty cover rock bands and an original rock band.
My interests in genres span a wide range. From the classic driving rock of Sammy Hagar, to the passionate sound of Relient K, and from the new hard metal of Rammstein to the spunky jazz of Herbie Hancock, I have an interesting combination of musical interests.
If you can handle me occasionally singing Rammstein (which is in german) and my eccentric/busy schedule, I’d love to play drums with your group.
